My best friend is, of course, Craig.
But my best girl friend is Dale.
We've know each other since we were in high school and managed to stay in contact and continue to visit one another over the years. She's one of the few people in my life who truly understands "Eeeewwwwww!", "Merge!" and "Pillow People." She's seen me really goofy at midnight. And she was even brave enough to take a cross-country trip with me when I moved from Arkansas to Oregon. (Oh, the stories we could tell!)
